Fort Hall Police aid in arrest of Bonneville fugitive

March 12, 2012

Fort Hall Police detained a fugitive from Bonneville County about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, eventually turning him over to Bingham County Sheriff’s deputies.
Sheriff Dave Johnson said that his deputies took 30-year-old Christopher Weston Hudson into custody after tribal police detained him at the Fort Hall Casino.
“A worker recognized him and called the Fort Hall Police,” Johnson said. “Since he was a non-tribal member they detained him until our deputy arrived. He still wouldn’t tell us his name but we identified him from his tattoos.”
Johnson said Hudson was held in the Bingham County Jail until Bonneville County authorities took him to Idaho Falls on Sunday afternoon.
Law enforcement personnel had been looking for Hudson since Thursday after trying to serve a warrant at his home.
According to KIFI-TV, Hudson has an extensive record since 1996. Some of those charges include drug trafficking and drug possession.
Sunday’s arrest was on a failure to appear warrant dating from September charges of drug trafficking.
