Francisco Becerra, 82, of Blackfoot passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at his home.
He was born April 5, 1929 in Mexico to Mateo Becerra and Felipa Valadez.
He attended schools in Mexico. He lived in Mexico, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Blackfoot for the past 15 years.
He married Victorina Orozco in Los Angeles, Calif.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Francisco worked as a custodian for ITT General controls. He enjoyed music and going to the park in California.
He is survived by his wife, Victorina of Blackfoot; daughters, Maria Jimenez, Guadalupe Maria, and Francisca Becerra, all of Blackfoot; sons Rufino of California and Mateo, Francisco and Andres Becerra, all of Blackfoot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Rufino Becerra and Ramon Becerra and sisters Maria Becerra, Concepcion Becerra and Alicia Becerra.
A rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 at St. Bernardâ€™s Catholic Church with Father Jose officiating.
Interment will be in the Groveland Cemetery.
