BLACKFOOT â€” The U.S. Marshals arrested a fugitive early Thursday morning at the Best Western Blackfoot Inn.
Nicodemos Adermann, 38, of Pocatello, was arrested just after 1 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for a parole violation by the U.S. Marshals and the Fugitive Task Force.
On Wednesday the U.S. Marshals received information that Adermann and a companion was staying at the Best Western in Blackfoot, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Darrin Lambert said. It is unknown how long Adermann was in the Blackfoot area.
The Task Force surveilled the hotel Wednesday night and confirmed Adermann was staying in a room at the hotel. Members of the Fugitive Task Force and members from the Blackfoot Police and BIngham County Sheriffâ€™s Office made entry to the hotel room and took Adermann into custody early Thursday morning.
Adermann has a history of narcotics and firearms violations and was on parole for 2008 charges of burglary in Bingham County and possession of a controlled substance in Bannock and Canyon Counties.
