At the age of 64, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Craig ended his earthly journey on May 14, 2014.Â
His unexpected passing is truly a bitter-sweet event, ending his time here, but now once again reunited with his sweet wife, Rayola M. Wright, who proceded him in death.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1944, one of the hardest and coldest winters in this areaÂ to the lateÂ Arnold F. and Stenna Wright.Â Craig got all his early education in the Blackfoot schools.Â After graduating high school he attended Ricks College (BYU-Idaho).Â He served a twoyear mission in Virginia for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Â After returning from his mission he graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Animal Science.Â There he met his future wife Rayola Moosman of Boulder, Utah.
He came back to the Blackfoot area and farmed with his brothers.Â While living in Blackfoot four children were born.Â G. Thayne, Ariana, Kjersta and Melia.Â Craig then moved to Council Bluffs in 1986 where he was employed by the United States Division of Agriculture (USDA) as a meat grader.
Craig was very active in the church.Â He served as bishop, teacher, high councilman and many different positions.Â Craig loved the outdoors always having a huge garden and a beautiful yard.
He is survivedÂ by his six children G. Thanye Wright of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Ariana Gleisber (Johnathan) of North Logan, Utah; Kjersta Ashton
(Michael) Logan, Utah; Melia Wright of Council Blufffs, Iowa; Garth C. Wright (Amy) of Denver, Colo.; and Natasha Wright of Logan,
Utah; and 12 grandchildren.Â Siblings, Condon (Judy)of Nampa, Idaho; Gray Wright (Sonja) of Blackfoot, Idaho; Stenna (Duane) Barclay of Sterling, Idaho; Shirrell (Gary) Marrow and Sandy, Utah; Naomi (Larry) Briggs of Twin Falls, Idaho.Â
In addition to his wife and parents, Craig was proceeded in death by bother Ferris and sisiter-in-law Linda Wright; Gayland and sister-in-law Leslie Wright.
