BLACKFOOT — People and organizations in the Blackfoot community have donated $28,549 to the families of the three electrocution victims, said organizer Douglas Bowers.
"Each family will receive $9,516," Bowers said.
He delivered the money to the families at 6 p.m. on Friday.
"I'm thankful to God and this community for coming together to support the survivors of such a tragedy," Bowers said. "This is a great community effort.
"Some money came in anonymously," he said. "The Blackfoot Elks donated a sum from the Demolition Derby."
The money was divided among Deb Poulson, mother of Jackie Poulson; Ellen Tarpley, widow of Keith Tarpley, and Bucki Hicks, widow of Lance Hicks.
