High Country soccer all conference selections

Blackfoot sophomore Madison Pilster makes a great defensive play in a game played early in the season. Pilster was named to the first team by the conference coaches.

BLACKFOOT — The 4A High Country Conference selected their All-Conference picks for the 2010 soccer season and on the roster are quite a few Bingham County athletes.
On the boys team, Blackfoot placed 4 players on the first team with Luis Oseguera, Gerra Bartolo, Titus Robinson and Carlos Murrillo each making the prestigious first squad.
Freshman goal keeper Ozzie Oseguera was the lone Bronco named to the second team but he was joined by Shelley junior Jason Park who was selected to the second team for the Russets.
Honorable mentions were awarded to Blackfoot's Ben Hong and Shelley's T.J. Stommel.
On the girls side of the ledger Blackfoot sophomore Madison Pilster was named to the first team while Kimberly Martinez captured a second team selection.
Ruby and Karina Pelayo each were named to the honorable mention selections capping the successful season on the pitch for these athletes.
