The Indian Relay is a thrill to see. It's a quick sport with plenty of spills and unexpected turns. One of the handlers was bowled over by a horse and rider as the team was coming out of the starting partition.
Twenty-four teams are competing in this year's finals. Ten of these are home teams.
These teams will split a $50,000 purse.
To get to the finals, teams have competed on Tuesday, Thursday and today. On Saturday, three races will be runâ€”consolation, championship and ladies.
Seven teams will run in consolation and seven will run in the championship race. Ten ladies' teams will run in the ladies race.
