Inmate work crew helps clean up county
BLACKFOOT – The Bingham County inmate work crew have spent the past three weeks working on county property, said Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland.
The inmates work four days each week–Monday through Thursday, said Rowland.
"This is what I ran on," said Rowland. "They get out of their cells and learn a trade skill.
"[Their work] saves the county money and beautifies the community," he said. "We are trying to make them better candidates to get jobs.
"I have a waiting list," said Rowland.
