Jack Ray Dyer, 55, of Rigby passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 11, 2013 in Rexburg.
Jack was born Oct. 3, 1957, in Pocatello to jerry Ray dyer and Nadine Frasure Dyer. He grew up on the Fort Hall Reservation and In Blackfoot. He graduated from Blackfoot High School and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. Jack worked as a registered nurse in various places, including Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Jack was a member of the Cowboy Church in Blackfoot. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, playing music and helping people both on call and off call.
Jack is survived by his 3 sons Jerry J.R.(Crystal) Dyer of Idaho, Elijah Dyer of Washington, Tosh Keller of Illinois; 4 daughters Sam (Glen Fox) Bench of South Dakota, Ella (Mike) Christiansen of Washington, Jessica (chris) Keating of Idaho, Bradee Holbrook of Idaho and 8 grandchildren, Ashlee, Jonathon, Joel, Lillian, amelia, Ryker, Shayla and toby.
He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Angel Dyer, his parents and his sister, Linda Paul
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15,2013, at the Wilderness Association of Cowboy Churches ( 129 East 200 North) in Blackfoot, with Pastor David Kite and Pastor Jim Ballard officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. the Cowboy Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Moreland Cemetary.
