Joe Trent Caldwell, 30, of Pingree, died Monday, April 25, 2011, as a result of complications due to asthma.
He was born Dec. 17, 1980, in Idaho Falls, the son of Brent and RaNae Caldwell. He attended Snake River schools and graduated from Snake River High School in 1999, where he was a member of the FFA. He attended college at Idaho State University and studied mechanical engineering. Joe was employed by S.M. Stoller where he was a teamster for the Idaho CERCLA Disposal Facility.
Joe was an avid outdoorsmen, loved hunting; especially in the company of his dogs, fishing, and being a good friend to many people of Southeast Idaho. His humor and loyal friendship will be missed by many. His family and friends will remember him for his frequent barbecues and gatherings where Joe always provided great food and an inviting atmosphere.
Joe is survived by his father, Brent Caldwell; his brother Troy (Lisa) of Pingree and his sister, Tina Gail (Doug) of Grand Junction, Colo.; and his nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend, LuKrena and her children Devon and Kylie of Pingree. He was preceded in death by his mother, RaNae Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
The family will meet with friends and family from 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at the funeral home and again for one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Moreland Cemetery.
