Jonathon Edward Maglio, 27, of Shelley passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his home.
Jonathon was born Aug. 24, 1983, in Lynwood, Calif., to Donald Edward Maglio and Lluana Jean Cherry. He moved to Blackfoot in 1991and lived in Blackfoot until moving to Pocatello in 1998. He lived and worked in Pocatello until moving to Shelley three years ago.
Jonathon worked at New Day in Pocatello. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, adding the numbers up in the phone books. He later moved to a shelter home in Shelley, living with Ron and Tammy Stillwell until his death. He liked going to The Adventure Center (a shelter workshop), going on trips and watching The Weather Channel. He loved to go to the shelter to work. He loved everybody and everybody was his friend.
Jonathon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jonathon is survived by his parents, Donald and Lluana Maglio; brother, Mike Maglio of Pocatello; and guardians, Ross and Mary McCullough of Blackfoot.
Jonathon was preceded in death by his sister, Andrea Maglio.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Grove City Cemetery.
