Joyce Clemens, 59

Joyce Clemens, 59 of Firth passed away on Oct. 3, 2010, in Idaho Falls caused by health complications.
She was born May 14, 1951, in Cottonwood, the daughter of Roy Allen and Georgia Allen.
She was raised in Mountain Home and the Nampa area.
She met the love of her life Carl Clemens in January 1968, and the two were married later that year on June 28. Throughout their 42 years of marriage they had four children; Kim, Lisa, Jason and Amanda. They eventually settled in Firth in 2005.
Joyce loved her family, she was a devoted wife, mom and grandma. She enjoyed anything to do with her family; whether it was loading up to go to a rodeo, football game, a concert or camping she was there for everything.
She will always be remembered for her Christmas Village during Christmas time, her statues in the yard and her beautiful singing voice.
She was mom and grandma to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Carl of Firth; her children, Kim and Jr. Clark of Jerome; Jason and Emily Clemens of Firth; Lisa and Brett Gilliland of Riverton, Wyo.; and Amanda and Brent Scott of Blackfoot, along with 13 grandchildren; her dad and mom, Roy and Jean Allen of King Hill; sisters and brothers, Barbara Burtlow, Lori Simmons and her husband Bob, John Allen and his wife Donna and Jim Allen and his wife Elizabeth. Many, many nieces and nephews and sister and brothers-in-law and the many friends of her kids and grandkids that she accepted as her own.
She was preceeded in death by her mother, Barbara J. “Georgia” Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. Blackfoot, Idaho 83221.
A viewing will be from noon until 2 p.m. with services following at the funeral home.
