Kay Stringham, 83, passed away peacefully, at his home, on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012.
Kay was born Aug. 26, 1928 in Bone to Platte Lyman Stringham and Ruby Jones. He married his high school sweetheart, Margene Going, on Oct. 21, 1949 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they raised two sons and four daughters.
Kay is survived by his wife Margene, and his six children: Denise Nelson (Gary) Holladay, Utah; Randy (Susan) Cala Mesa, Calif.; Nancy Yost, Houston, Texas; Betty Jo Bailey (Dean) Alpine, Utah; Janette Weaver (Josh) Logan, Utah, and Richard, Yucaipa, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings and a granddaughter.
A viewing will be held Sunday, Jan. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 West, American Fork, Utah.
Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 9, at the Manila 5th Ward Chapel, 3396 North 900 West, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Friends may visit the family on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Highland City Cemetery.
