Kyle Joshua Eddington, 29, left this world Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Kyle was born in Blackfoot, Idaho on Aug. 16, 1985 to Glenn and Nina (Jowers) Eddington. He was the eighth child born into the family. He had six older brothers, one older sister and one younger brother.
Kyle attended school in the Firth and Blackfoot school districts and within the last year earned his GED. He was always interested in learning new things and had a great love of literature and poetry as well as many kinds of music. He had purchased a violin and was planning to begin lessons soon. He was also interested in movies and hoped to someday become involved in making movies.
Kyle believed in the possibility of a fair and just world and wanted to help the public become more aware of injustices. His dream was truly to someday have the power to make the world a better place. He had many goals and plans for the future.
Kyle had a great love for children and always did his best to see that those he was around were cared for and kept safe. He loved playing with and teasing his nieces and nephews.
He grew up in the Rose area and spent the majority of his life in the Blackfoot area. He also lived and worked in Pocatello for a period of time.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Maxine Jowers; his grandfather, Ira Glenn Eddington; his father, Ira Glenn Eddington Jr. and his brother, Ira Glenn Eddington III.
He is survived by by his brothers, Paul (Sandy) Eddington, Michael (Alyssa) Eddington, Wayne Eddington, Jeff (Mindy) Eddington, Patrick (Meri) Eddington, Jacob (Ashley) Eddington and his sister Trena Nalley (Ben Nelson) as well as 18 nieces and nephews.
Many people loved Kyle and his absence will leave a void in our lives.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, Idaho.  
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
