Lee Meldrum Harding, 78
Lee Meldrum Harding passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Lee was born Jan. 2, 1934 in Provo, Utah. He was the eighth child born to Myrtle Meldrum Haring and Milton James Harding. He grew up in Provo, Utah.
Lee married Carol Jensen and they had two sons, Cary and Don. They were later divorced. Lee then married Alice Simons and they had one son and five daughters, James, Patricia, Lisa Ann, Echo, Allison and Cynthia. They were later divorced. He married again, Dorthea Calloway of Sysktow, Missouri, and they were later divorced. On March 25, 1989 Lee married Rosemary Eldredge in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they had one son, Dean.
Lee worked at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot. He was in the maintenance department. Lee enjoyed and loved the sport of bowling. Lee was an excellent bowler. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very dedicated to his children. He was very proud of all of them and their accomplishments.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held the office of High Priest. He was a member of the Moreland 6th Ward. Lee will surely be missed.
Lee is survived by his wife, Rosemary of Blackfoot; children, Cary Harding of Longview, Wash.,; James Harding of Pocatello; Patricia Contreras of Provo, Utah; Lisa Ann Greenfield of Boise,; Echo Moran of Aberdeen; Allison Lopez of Logan, Utah; and Dean Harding of Blackfoot.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and four brothers, Dean, Maud, Vera, Emma, Karl, Earl and Glen; children, Don and Cynthia.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Blackfoot North West Stake Center with Bishop Mark J. Adams conducting. The family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at the Moreland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
