LeeAnna Z. M. Tinno, 39, of Blackfoot, passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
LeeAnna was born on Feb. 12, 1971, in Pocatello to Marge Galloway and Zilford Tinno. She was raised in the Blackfoot area and attended schools in the Blackfoot school district.
LeeAnna worked in various clerical jobs but was primarily engaged in being a homemaker and providing a comfortable environment for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of children, especially her niece and nephew. She also enjoyed listening to music, watching TV, gardening and taking care of her peach tree. She was a member of the Native American church and participated in Native traditions.
LeeAnna is survived by her son, Leland Broncho; her mother, Marge (Alvin “Stitch”) Edmo; a sister, November Edmo and her two children, Novee and Eiseley Chavez; maternal grandfather Frank Galloway; uncles, Tony Galloway, Sam (Wendy) Galloway, Walker Galloway, and Keith Tinno; aunts, Linda (Lonnie) Marshall, Norma (Kelly) Ballard, Vi Galloway and ReeDene Galloway, all of Blackfoot, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Saxon Broncho; her father, Zilford Tinno; maternal grandmother, Georgina Galloway; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Viola Tinno; and cousins Rae Lee Galloway and Johnny Spotted Elk.
LeeAnna will be taken to the Alvin “Stitch” Edmo residence on Jim Road at 10 a.m., Sunday Sept. 19, 2010. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling, Blackfoot. The family will greet friends following the prayer service. Traditional burial services will take place at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at the Gibson Cemetery.
