Lillie Laurene Provost Ghangraw, 88

Lillie Laurene Provost Ghangraw, 88, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at her home.
Lillie was born Aug. 25, 1926 in Fort Hall, Idaho to Grant Martin and Abbie Stone.  She lived her entire lifetime in Gibson, Idaho.  
In 1942 Lille married “Lee” Leland Broncho; he preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1990.  She then married Everett Ghangraw on July 4, 1974.
Lillie retired from the INL.  In her free time she enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, crochet, beadwork and raising farm animals.  
She is survived by her children, Florine B. Marsh, Angelita Broncho, Cheryl L. Calico, Laverne M. Broncho, Velma “Punch” (Brett) McCrary, all of Gibson, Idaho, and David w. (Marcy) Bitters of Idaho Falls; the granddaughter she raised, Valerie “Markie” (Bobby) Burns of Gibson, Idaho; sisters, Mildred P. Borjas of Gibson and Eldean P. Nielsen of San Jose, California; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Lillie was preceded in death by her mother, Abbie Stone Blackhawk; children, Manuel E. Broncho and Gary L. Broncho; brother, Francis “Cracky” Edgar Pizoka; and sister, Lourinda P. Ingawanup; and her grandchildren, Thayne Broncho, Mindy M. Moss, Saxon Broncho, Raelee Broncho and Corey Broncho.
Lillie will be taken to Mountain View Baptist Church on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at 9 a.m.  She will remain there until funeral services at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.  Traditional Native American Burial will take place on Friday at Gibson Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
