Lt. Gov. candidate Steve Yates visited Blackfoot on Wednesday. Why are you running for Lt. Gov.?
"It is an awesome job," Yates said. "It gives you great cosmic power and you get nothing but thank you's in return. 2018 is a time of opportunity and choosing for Idaho voters. With a Republican administration in the White House and Republican majorities in the Congress, states who want to have their own reforms may have more opportunity to do that."
Some of the reforms he named included health care, tax and public lands reform.
