Mirella P. Reed, 36, of Pocatello and formerly of Pingree, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at her home.
Mirella was born May 17, 1975 in Pocatello. Her parents are Marvin and Maria Guadalupe Alcaraz Preston. She was raised and lived most of her life in Pocatello but spent some time in the Blackfoot and Pingree areas. She graduated from Pocatello High School.
She was married to Sam Preston and they were later divorced.
On May 12, 2000, she married Ryan Reed and a year later their marriage was further solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on May 12, 2001.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various church callings.
Mirella sold Mary Kay Cosmetics and had worked for Keslerâ€™s Market and Liberty Tomato Company.
Her hobbies included: scrapbooking, growing a variety of houseplants, interior design, puzzles, reading and camping.
She is survived by her husband, Ryan Reed; her children: Christy Preston (15), Airyl Reed (10) and Rio D. Reed (8), all of Pocatello. Also surviving are her mother Maria Preston of Pocatello; brother Marvin Preston of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepbrothers and stepsisters. Earl (Gloria) Preston of Thomas, Marcille (Bill) Minorof Pocatello, Sam (Ann) Preston of Blackfoot, Clint (Sandy Jo) Preston of Texas, and Kelly (Lori) Preston of Pocatello and a special ex-sister-in-law, Lacie Preston.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at Hawker Funeral Home with Bishop Stacy Jackson conducting. The family will meet with friends and family on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and again for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
