New council member thanks community

To the Editor:
I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to come out and vote the second time in the Blackfoot City Council election. 
In our busy lives it's sometimes hard to fit everything in but your votes do count, no matter which candidate you voted for. The only way we can change things that we feel need to be changed is to get involved.
I have always said we have a great community, the people who live in Blackfoot are some of the most giving people on the planet. Just ask a family in need or go look at the Christmas tree at Zion Bank, or what went on at the Christmas Tree Fantasy. 
I am excited to be the newest Blackfoot city councilman, I will do my best to serve the people of Blackfoot. Thank you all again for your support.
