Obituary Elizabeth Kay Sequints, 72

Elizabeth Kay Sequints, 72, of Fort Hall, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children and loved ones, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at her home.
            She was born July 19, 1939 in Owyhee, Nevada to Raymond Warren  and Mary Stanley. She attended school Owyhee and moved to Blackfoot when she was a teenager.
            Elizabeth loved traveling to pow wows and watching sports. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends.        
            Elizabeth worked in a sewing factory and in a potato warehouse in Blackfoot. She was also a very dedicated homemaker and made sure her children were cared for. She was a member of the Native American Church.
            She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to be surrounded by her grandchildren and they loved to always be around their grandmother.
            She is survived by her mother Mary Stanley and her sons, Xavier T.(Janet George) Sequints, Brent T. (Loreen) Sequints Sr., Leslie B. (Rhonda Broncho) Sequints Jr., traditional adopted son, Fred (Cindy Damon) Nielson, and her daughter Lowinda J. (Gary Miler) Sequints. Her sister Faith Amanda (Calvin) Warren Tso. Her Nephews Richard Pohipe, Suzie Pohipe, Richmond Pohipe, Flint Humble, and Alvino Tisidimitt. She has twelve grandchildren, Jimmy, Audrey, Lawerence, Robert, Payton Makyla, Savannah, Layne, Xavier Jr., Savvon, Cedar, and Feather. She also has five great grandchildren, Bam, Beuleah, Kirstyn, Cameron, and Jaydon. She also has other family members living in Owyhee, Nevada and Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
            She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Warren and husband Bruce Leslie Sequints, Sr. Her brother Leland Warren, step brother Stanley Warren Rabbit, her sister Betty Warren Pohipe, Judy Warren Teton, Carlene Warren Benally.
            Elizabeth will be taken to her home on Ferry Butte Road on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 12:00 Noon for family and friends to gather and pay their respects.
            Traditional funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2012 at the Gibson Cemetery.
            Services are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
