Panthers lose double-overtime heartbreaker

Snake River Panthers vs Timberlake Tigers
Winner will face winner of Marsh Valley and Priest River.

The score is tied 6-6 at the end of the first quarter.

Snake River takes its first lead of the game at 10-8 in the second quarter.

It was a defensive battle in the first half and the teams head to the locker room tied at 13-13. Shayla Christensen has six points and Jocelyn Harper has seven for the Panthers.

Snake River has taken an early 18-15 lead in the third quarter.

Jocelyn Harper scores just before the third quarter buzzer and Snake River leads 26-24 entering the fourth.

3:59 to play and the score is tied at 33-33.

Snake River leads by two with 1:15 to play. Timberlake calls timeout. Panthers survive final shot by Timberlake. The game goes to overtime.

Timberlake banks in a 3 with two seconds left to send the game to double-overtime.

Timberlake makes two free throws with 5.7 seconds left on the clock to take a one point lead and the Panthers final shot is no good.

Timberlake wins 49-48.
