Panthers steamroll Bears

MONTPELIER — C.J. Toulouse passed for 114 yards and two touchdowns as Snake River downed Bear Lake 43-0 in Southeast Idaho Conference football action on Friday. He also rushed for a pair of scores. With the win the Panthers improved to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in league play.
"The kids came out and played like we drew it up," coach Jeff Dalley said of Snake River's defensive play. "There was a lot of good hitting going on."
After scoring on runs of 11 and two yards, Toulouse had touchdown passes of 21 yards to Derik Williams and 34 yards to Dawson Bingham. Bingham later added a one-yard rushing touchdown.
Emmett Smith had a 12-yard touchdown run and Cooper Peterson kicked a 34-yard field goal to go with four points-after-touchdown.
Smith rushed for 135 yards while Travis Robenson had 50 and Skyler Martin added 38. Toulouse completed five of his nine passes.
"It was a good game for us," said Dalley. "We dressed a lot of younger kids and got a lot of them in."
