Paul S. Hartman, 40, a lifetime resident of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at his home.
Paul was born Aug. 15, 1970, in Rexburg to Fritz Phillip Hartman and Joyce Nadeen Young. He attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1989. He went on to attend Eastern Idaho Technical College, studying Nuclear Security Services.
On Aug. 2, 1992, Paul married Marguerite Hayne in Triumph. They were later divorced.
Paul worked as a security guard and a long haul truck driver. He was also a welder at L.L. Mechanical and Spudnik. His final employment was as an iron worker at Sure Steel. In his free time, he enjoyed flying his plane, camping, riding ATVâ€™s, motorcycles, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing.
Paul is survived by his parents, Fritz and Joyce Hartman of Blackfoot; brother, Phillip Fritz (Melissa) Hartman of Pocatello; and sister Paulena Ethel Hartman of Moreland. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fritz and Paula Hartman and Seymore D. and LuVella Young.
Family will meet with friends and relatives from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.
