Pearl Poog, 85, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at her home. 
Pearl was born Dec. 13, 1928 in Fort Hall, Idaho to Peter Poog and Alice Deepwater.  
She attended school at Tyhee Grade School. Then she was hospitalized in Gooding for 10 years and got her education there.
She worked at Lamb Weston, the Fort Hall Blouse Factory and as a pen assembler for Bic Pen Factory.
In her free time she enjoyed traveling, going to the casinos in Wendover, being outdoors having picnics and watching sports. She loved watching her grandson, Devon, play basketball.
Pearl is survived by her adopted daughter, Leanndria Poog Borden of California;  grandson, Devon André Borden; and nieces, Linda Cotten of Blackfoot, Carol Osborne of Fort Hall and Debra (Ivan Jr.) Dixey of Fort Hall; and nephew, Shelby Bordeux of North Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Poog and Alice Deepwater; brother, Dwight Osborn; and sisters, Hazel Jane Poog, Leona Gladys L. Paladino, Delphina Marshall and Elaine Ingawawup.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Good Shepard Mission Church in Fort Hall. The family will meet with friends and relatives from noon on Sunday, July 13, 2014 until services. Burial will follow at the Mission Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
