Blackfoot Police

PEEPER: July 27, 10:22 a.m.: A caller said a man is standing in front of their door and looking into the windows of the residence.

BAD NEIGHBOR: July 27, 1:12 p.m.: A woman said her neighbor is throwing garbage, leaves, plastic pipe and other materials into her yard and this has been an ongoing problem.

TRAFFIC COMPLAINT: July 27, 9:40 p.m.: A caller reported speeding motorists on Seefried and Cromwell. They said it was every shape and size of vehicle.

SLEEPING MAN: July 28, 9:14 a.m.: A caller said there is a male sleeping on her front porch.

BURGLARY: July 28, 7:29 p.m.: A man said items were stolen out of his vehicle sometime last night.

$600: July 29, 10:22 a.m.: A caller said someone stole $600 out of her car.

4-WHEELER THEFT: July 29, 8:11 p.m.: A caller reported their 4-wheeler stolen and said it happened sometime in the last couple days.

FERRET ON THE LOOSE: July 30, 10:47 a.m.: A caller reported a ferret running loose in the halls at Stalker Elementary.

KIDS WITH A GUN: July 30, 4:41 p.m.: A woman said her neighbor's children came to her house with a gun. She said she took the gun from the kids but she isn't sure if it is real or a toy.

FRAUD: July 31: Several callers reported that they were victims of fraud.

GRAND THEFT AUTO: July 31, 11:50 a.m.: A man said his vehicle was stolen.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: Aug. 1, 12:14 a.m.: A woman said there was a man outside near her home and he propositioned her and then exposed himself to her when she declined.

WATER FOUNTAIN: Aug. 1, 5:15 a.m.: A caller said the water fountain at Jensen Grove is broken and water is spraying into the air.

NARCOTICS FOUND: Aug. 1, 5:58 p.m.: A woman said she found narcotics in her residence and believes her ex-husband planted them there.

MAN IN BLACK: Aug. 1, 9:22 p.m.: A caller said a man dressed in all black came to her residence and is now pacing in front of her house.

SARAN WRAP HAZARD: Aug. 1, 11:51 p.m.: A caller said a group of people have stretched Saran Wrap from one stop sign to the other, crossing the road at Fisher and Walker Streets.

SHOPPING CART THEFT: Aug. 2, 8:17 p.m.: A caller at Walmart said a truck pulled up and a male and female got out and stole two shopping carts and headed towards Jensen Grove.

BAD SALESMAN: Aug. 2, 8:58 p.m.: A woman said her son told her that a salesman came to the door and when they didn't answer the door the salesman tried to enter their home.

CAR VS. MOTORCYCLE: Aug. 2, 9:39 p.m.: A caller said a vehicle crashed into a motorcycle at E. Harmony Drive and Rich Lane and then left the scene. They also said something at the scene is on fire.

I-15 ACCIDENT: Aug. 4, 1 p.m.: A caller said a car pulling a trailer went of the road on Interstate 15 and the trailer went sideways but they didn't see anything more.

DUMPSTER DIVERS: Aug. 4, 6:41 p.m.: A caller said several females are diving in the dumpsters in the alley behind W. Bridge St.

LIVING IN THE DUMPSTER: Aug. 5, 10:58 a.m.: A caller at Independence High School said there is something alive in the dumpster at the school. They said that whatever is inside the dumpster is large enough to bump the lid of the dumpster partially open.
