Blackfoot Police

GAS THEFT: Aug. 5, 12:38 p.m.: A caller at Maverik reported a vehicle leaving without paying for $40 in fuel.

GRAND THEFT AUTO: Aug. 5, 5:03 p.m.: A man said his motorcycle has been stolen in the last few hours.

RACCOON: Aug. 6, 12 p.m.: A caller requested someone to check on a raccoon that is locked in a car at the dollar store.

CRANE ACCIDENT: Aug. 6, 9:16 a.m.: A caller requested an ambulance for a man who has been "smashed" by a crane that has fallen on him.

PET DEER: Aug. 6, 8:15 p.m.: A caller said someone has a deer as a pet.

PURSE THEFT: Aug. 6, 4:21 p.m.: A woman reported having her purse stolen out of her vehicle while it was parked at Walmart.

WEED-EATER: Aug. 7, 12:24 p.m.: A caller at Walmart said a man just walked out with a weed-eater that was not paid for.

BAD IMPERSONATION: Aug. 8, 2:18 p.m.: A caller at the hospital requested an officer because a man identified himself as someone else.

BAD BOYS: Aug 8, 7:13 p.m.: A caller said some young girls found a bird with a broken wing at Jensen Grove and three juvenile boys approached them and took the bird and killed it.Then the boys threw the corpse at the girls and have continued harass them.

SEXTING: Aug. 9, 12:30 p.m.: A woman said she has just discovered her 11-year-old client has been "sexting" an older man from Ohio.

THIRSTY HORSE: Aug. 9, 4:21 p.m.: A caller said a horse is in a metal trailer and may not have anything to drink. They wanted to have someone come check on the animal.

SHOTS FIRED: Aug. 10, 1:31 a.m.: A caller said they heard shots in the area of Fisher Avenue and Collins Road.

JOINT FOUND: Aug. 10, 9:37 a.m.: A caller said they found a joint in the bushes.

STOPPING TRAFFIC: Aug. 10, 4:35 p.m.: A caller said three small juvenile males are trying to stop traffic on E. Walker St.

A TRUE FRIEND: Aug. 10, 7:08 p.m.: A man said he left his fishing gear at a friend's house about six weeks ago and now the friend is refusing to return the items.

BOY HITS BROTHER: Aug. 11, 11:12 a.m.: A woman said her 10-year-old son hit her 9-year-old son with a stick.

BROKEN TAILLIGHT: Aug. 11, 11:41 a.m.: A woman said her neighbor's 6-year-old child punched the taillight on her vehicle and broke it.

NOISE POLLUTION: Aug. 11, 9:05 p.m.: A man said the music is extremely loud at the fairgrounds and requested an officer because he needs protection from the noise pollution.

THREATENING NOTE: Aug. 11, 10:50 p.m.: A woman said someone is knocking on her windows and left a note taped to her door that says "you are going to die."

ATTEMPTED VEHICLE BURGLARY: Aug. 12, 4:01 a.m.: A woman said someone just tried to get into her vehicle and the car alarm went off.

THEFT: Aug. 12, 8:23 a.m.: A woman said someone broke into her vehicle and stole her wallet. She said there was $1,200 inside.

IPOD THEFT: Aug. 12, 12:44 p.m.: A caller said an IPOD was taken from their residence about two months ago and they think they know who has it.

PROWLER: Aug. 13, 3:45 a.m.: A woman said she woke up to a man trying to get inside of her bedroom window.
