Blackfoot Police

FRAUD: Feb. 16. 2:52 p.m.: A man said he received a phone call and was told his grandson is overseas and had been injured and incarcerated. He said he sent $2,800 through Western Union to a person who is allegedly working for the American Embassy. He said they are continuing to call, allegedly to arrange the grandson's travel home.

OFF TARGET: Feb. 17, 10:45 a.m.: A woman said she found an arrow that has been shot into the back of her house.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING: Feb. 17, 12:03 p.m.: A woman said a man came to her door and she did not open the door. The man then proceeded to use a metal detector and walk around in her front yard.

IPOD: Feb. 17. 1:18 p.m.: A female said two people took her IPOD from her last week at school.

SHOPLIFTING: Feb. 17, 7:48 p.m.: A caller at Walmart reported two people being detained for shoplifting.

THEFT: Feb. 18, 5:11 p.m.: A caller at Short Stop said a woman took some beer and left without paying for it.

ROYAL RUMBLE: Feb. 19, 1:16 a.m.: A caller said there are 20 people in a fight at the Cowboy Haven.

BURGLARY: Feb. 19, 4:19 p.m.: A caller reported the theft of an air compressor and an electric motor from their garage.

PORNOGRAPHY: Feb. 19, 11:17 p.m.: A caller said there is a man in a truck that is parked in the parking lot at Super 8 and he is watching pornography.

MAILBOXES: Feb. 20: Dispatch received multiple calls reporting damage to mailboxes.
