Polling places listed for Blackfoot mayoral election

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday for the Blackfoot mayoral runoff election.
In Blackfoot, the mayoral candidate must gain 50 percent plus one vote to be elected mayor.
There were six mayoral candidates in the November election. No candidate approached the 50 percentile. The top two contenders—Paul Loomis and Dan Cravens—are running for the mayor's job.
Electors must live within the city limits of Blackfoot to vote in this election.
People living in the following precincts vote at these locations:
° Precincts 1, 2 and 3 vote at Mountain View Middle School, 645 Mitchell Ln.
° Precinct 4 votes at Stalker Elementary, 991 W. Center.
° Precinct 5 votes at Ridge Crest Elementary, 800 Airport.
° Precinct 6 votes at Blackfoot Preforming Arts Center, 870 S. Fisher.
All eligible voters can vote in this runoff election if they live in the Blackfoot city limits even if he or she did not vote in the November election.
