ELGIN, South Carolina â€“ Funeral service for Everlyne E. Glinski, 84, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Tri-County.
Mrs. Glinski died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Born in Johnsonville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Madie Stone Evans. She enjoyed traveling and loved the years she spent in Idaho and Arizona.
Surviving are her husband Robert L. Glinski; daughters, Susan M. Asher (John) of Elgin and Sandra M. Watts (Gary) of Elgin; step-son, Dennis L. Glinski of Pocatello, Idaho; two grandchildren, Brian W. Asher and Emily W. Infinger (Jeremy); and a great-grandson, Benjamin Infinger. She was predeceased by brothers, Eugene Wilson Evans and Finis J. Evans; sisters, Gertrude Porter Smith, Gladys Prosser, Miriam Foxworth, and Betty Evans.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at The Haven for their loving care of Miss Ebbie and a special thank you to Gloria with Hospice of Tri-County.
