Robert Allen Troumbley, 79

    Robert Allen Troumbley, 79 of Blackfoot passed away September 15, 2012 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital.
            He was born September 3, 1933 in Fort Ann, New York, the son of Warren and Ethel Elizabeth Brayman Troumbley.
            Robert attended school in New York in his early years. He later moved to Orem, Utah   where attended Utah Valley Community College for a few years.
            Robert married Sharon Layne O’Neil on December 23, 1958 in Hudson Falls, New York.
            They lived in various places including Glen Falls, New York, Blackfoot, American Falls, Idaho, Altamont, Utah and Apache Junction, Arizona, and then back to Blackfoot.
            He worked as a carpenter.    
            Robert loved riding horses and spending time outdoors.
            He is survived by his wife Sharon of Blackfoot; his children, Connie Lou Troumbley of Maine, Jeffrey (Denise) Troumbley of Elma, WA, Robin Lee (Spencer) Montgomery of Kennewick, WA, Shawn (Marian) Troumbley of Provo, Utah, Lansing (Tami) Troumbley of Roosevelt, Utah, Michele (Steve) Tuttle of South Jordan, Utah, Darlene (Steve) McDaniel of Elizabeth, Colorado, Shenandeah (Katie) Troumbley of Blackfoot, Jared (Tina) Troumbley of Chesterfield, Idaho, Patrick (Nicole) Troumbley of Clearfield, Utah;  sisters, Leda Brown and Florence “Honey” Stevenson of New York; 41 grandchildren and  8 great grandchildren.
            Robert was preceded in death by his parents,  brothers, Frank, George, and William Troumbley; sisters, Emma Ladd, and Marion Denton.
            Funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Hawker Funeral in Blackfoot, 132 South Shilling, Blackfoot, Idaho.
            Family will visit with friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
            Burial will follow the services at the Grove City Cemetery.
            Services are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
