ROBERT VERLAND HADDON, 61
Robert Verland “Bob” Haddon, 61, of Blackfoot passed away on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at Bingham Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
Bob was born Jan. 14, 1952 to Charles Vernon Haddon and Cora Bell Wagner-Haddon. He was the second child of what grew to be 7.
Bob was raised in Sunset, Utah where he attended schools in the Sunset-Clearfield area. He moved to Blackfoot in 1983 and has resided there since. He worked for a number of years on a remodeling crew for K-Mart which gave him the opportunity to travel around the country. He later went to work for Bingham Co-op, and was last employed by STS underground cable location service.
Bob had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends that loved him very much. He was a kind and gentle soul, loved all animals, fishing, camping and hunting. He especially enjoyed playing and singing karaoke, writing poetry and songs, and had his own equipment so he could DJ the music on karaoke night. He fought a valiant battle and stayed with us as long as possible.
Bob was preceded in death by his father Nov. 5, 1996.
