Scouts, legionaires retire flag

Morning News-Lisa Lete Frank Hall, Chapman of Blackfoot's American Legion Post, and other members of the legion, lead American Legion Scout Troop No. 276 in a Flag Day 'flag retirement ceremony' outside of the American Legion Hall Thursday evening. Hall said Flag Day is the time to properly dispose of flags that have become tattered and worn. The extra large flag they retired is one that used to fly over a Super 8 Motel.
