BLACKFOOT — Fans of the Blackfoot High School football team have the opportunity to travel to Boise on a chartered bus to support the Broncos at the 4A state championship game against Bishop Kelly Saturday.
Buses chartered through Teton Stage Lines will leave at 7 a.m. from the carnival entrance at the East Idaho State Fairgrounds. The game will be at Boise State University at 1 p.m. Saturday. The bus will leave Boise at 5 p.m. and be back in Blackfoot at 10 p.m. There will be regular rest stops, but no stops for meals.
The cost is $30 per person roundtrip, with a small portion going to the Blackfoot Booster Club. Those interested in attending must confirm as soon as possible by emailing Jeremy Mikesell at firstname.lastname@example.org. Payment of cash or check will be accepted prior to getting on the bus. At least 40 people are needed for one bus.
No plans have been made for Snake River fans to be bused to Boise for the 3A football state championship, but Donavan Harrington, owner of Teton Stage Lines, said he would be willing to make a similar arrangement if asked.
