On Oct. 7, 2011, Sharon Mae Wallin Hansen 67, of Elko, Nev. returned to the welcoming arms of her heavenly family.
She was born May 6, 1944 to Carl & Edna Wallin in Pocatello. She was the youngest of five children. Sharon graduated from Pocatello High School in 1962.
She married James B. Hansen on Aug. 3, 1968. They resided in Springfield and were blessed with six children. James B. and Sharon were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, Sept. 15, 1979.
She is survived by her husband James B. Hansen and her children Joelynn (Bill) Tanner. Jennifer (George) Velasquez and James (Jennifer) Hansen, all of Elko Nev.; Jaron (Emily) Hansen of Burley and Julia (Eric) Terry of Winnemucca, Nev.; 11 grandsons and 8 granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Michael Hansen, and grandson James Marvin Hansen, â€śJuniorâ€ť and Baby Girl Tanner, her parents and four siblings.
In remembrance there will be a viewing on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Hawker Funeral Home 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, with a funeral on Oct. 15, 2011 at the Springfield LDS Church 2120 US Hwy. 39, with a viewing at 10 a.m. the funeral will start at 11 a.m.
Burial services will follow at the Springfield Cemetery.
