Shelley graduates reminded of class motto on unity

May 21, 2014

Morning News — Bob Hudson Shelley High School graduates change over their tassels symbolizing completion of their public education journey on Tuesday night.

Quoting the class motto "where there is unity, there is always victory," valedictorian Kendra Johnson pointed out that Shelley High's 2014 graduates have been able to support one another since 2002.
That's when they began their public education journey, with some students joining them and others leaving along the way.
"As we move on, many of us will face many more challenges," Johnson reminded her classmates. "If we go forward united, we will always be strong."
Salutorian Brennan Taylor said, "one quality that has allowed us to get where we are today — determination.
"One thing we need to remember; it is to keep this determination," Taylor said.
