Shelley/Firth DYW to be decided Friday

The Firth/Shelley Distinguished Young Women contest will begin at 7 p.m. this Friday, at the Firth High School Auditorium. The theme is "Toes in the Sand."
Tickets are available from the contestants for $8 or can be purchased at the door for $10.
Some of the sponsors for this contest are Andrea Jo Photography, Piano Gallery, Bingham Memorial Hospital, Steven Longhurst Farms, Adams Manufacturing, Holley Brothers, Farm Bureau and many others.
° Megan Walker, daughter of Samuel and Gayla Walker, attends Firth High School. She plans to major in commercial music at BYU. For her talent, she will sing, "Somebody's Perfect," that she composed herself.
° Emily Marie Warner, daughter of Donald and Christine Warner, attends Firth High School. Her career goals are to be a nurse anesthetist or a nuclear chemist. She hopes to attend either ISU, BYU or Utah State. For her talent, she will perform a jazz lyrical dance to "Let It Go" by Idina Menzel.
