Sho-Ban Festival continues this weekend
FORT HALL — The 48th annual Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival will continue through Sunday at the Fort Hall festival and rodeo grounds.
Today will be full of activities including an All-Indian Parade at 10 a.m. and Grand Entry and powwow at 1 p.m. There will also be an art show from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Tribal Business Center.
The annual feast will be at 4 p.m., Indian Relay Races at 5 p.m. and a second Grand Entry and powwow at 7 p.m. The second round of the rodeo begins at 7 p.m.
Also on the Saturday schedule are a handgame tournament at 3 p.m., Indian Relay races at 5 and softball tournament championships at 7 and 8 p.m.
The art show continues Sunday. Also on Sunday, the rodeo finals will begin at noon, with Grand Entry at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
All events take place at the festival grounds or rodeo grounds located off Ross Fork Road.
Gate admissions are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors 50 years old and up and $3 for children 5-15.
