The Morning News — Jen Wacaser Chief David Moore assists the On The Spot Cleaning crew with vacuuming out the police vehicles.

BLACKFOOT — Derek Preece, owner of On The Spot Cleaning, offered his services free of charge to the police force to "give back to the men and women who give so much to us daily. It is our way of giving back."
The cleaning the police vehicles has occurred for the last 6 years.
On The Spot Cleaning offered a full detail of the vehicles. Chief of Police David Moore pointed out that the city force has 28 marked vehicles and five unmarked vehicles alone, not counting the vehicles of the sheriff's office. "It is a lot of work and we are very appreciative to Derek and his crew for doing this," Moore said.
Preece said "we clean the vehicles in spring. After winter and all the debris from the snow it is needed. The officers take care of their vehicles which makes it a lot easier."
On The Spot also conducted a luncheon for the officers.
