Susan Rae Neff Waldhalm, 60, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at her home.
Susan was born Nov. 10, 1953 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Charles (Karl) Neff and Muriel Rayola Atwood, the second of five children.Â She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1972 and attended beauty school in Blackfoot.Â
In 1994 Susan married Joe Waldhalm in Billings, Mont. where they lived until 2011 when she moved back to Blackfoot.Â They have been together for 40 years. Â
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.Â When she was younger, she participated in 4-H and had several steers that were grand champions.Â She was part of a bikers club in Billings and helped with the Toys for Kids Charity Ride.Â
Susan worked as a beautician most of her time in Idaho; she also worked at Riverside Motel and as a supervisor in a pharmaceutical factory in Billings. In her free time she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, horses, and the outdoors. Â
Susan is survived by her brothers, Michael â€śMikeâ€ť (Diane) Neff of Blackfoot and Lloyd (Janet) Neff of Salmon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Karl and Rayola, husband, Joe; and brothers, Don and Carl Ray Neff.
There will be a celebration of life from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.Â
