Timely Chunks has moved. The business that features beads and homemade wares from 30 different vendors is now at 488 W. Bridge in Blackfoot.
Store hours are from noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday and Monday.
“Moving over here was the best move for us,” said shop owner Sydnee Hale. “With all the windows, people are able to see we have so much more than just beads.
“It gives the community another place to come for a gift,” she said.
“People like knowing the items are locally made,” said designer Kristin Palmer. “These are unique, creative gifts.”
Palmer has three sons. Among a variety of items, she also designs headbands.
“I call it my chick fix,” she said. “I used to make these things and give them away. Now I earn some money with my craft.”
Some of the items available at Timely Chunks are new beads (Hale just returned from market), little girls' hair bows and accessories, like tutus, hats and headbands.
There are also car seat covers and quilts for cribs.
There’s custom jewelry with soldered charms or family or children’s pictures and mother’s necklaces.
Some ladies do special orders.
Wall décor, fancy jeans and huckleberry products are also sold here.
Timely Chunks has been in its new location about one month.
“This location, with all the visibility from the windows, has let people see what’s available here,” said Hale. “We’ve seen more new people. It’s great.”
