The first of a series of town hall meetings to introduce Blackfoot residents to the candidates running in the upcoming city election will be Wednesday at the Blackfoot Senior Citizen Center (20 E. Pacific St.).
Pam Beus executive director of the senior center said that a luncheon will be served at noon (for a $4 donation) followed by the forum which will begin at 12:30.
Blackfoot resident Karole Honas, anchor of KIFI Local News 8, will moderate the meeting.
Beus said, "This event is not just for senior citizens. It is for anyone who would like to come and meet the candidates, learn the issues and ask questions. Everyone is welcome."
