Words seem inadequate to express the sadness that is felt to announce the passing of Trenton Erland Sorensen, 46, of Blackfoot, Idaho Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Montpelier, Idaho from injuries sustained in an accident while doing what he loved.Â
Trent was born November 10, 1967 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Erland O Sorensen and Delores Irene Findlay Sorensen.
Trent lived his life in Blackfoot. He graduated from Blackfoot High School.
On November 21, 1987, he married his high school sweetheart Kimi Taylor in Blackfoot, Idaho. Together they started their greatest legacy; their family.Â
Trent worked for Taylor Construction throughout his life. He was an honest man who worked hard side by side through example putting his heart into everything he did. He was dedicated, never gave up, and excelled with greatness; because of this he always succeeded. He will truly be missed by Taylor Construction and those that looked up to him as a friend, teacher, and mentor.Â
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding horses. Above all he loved his Friday night date night with his sweet wife, and the time spent together in Jackson. He loved being with his kids and grandkids. He lived his life to the fullest absent of regret which brings peace and comfort to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Kimi Sorensen; children, Tes (Jake) Fields, Kami (Aaron) Burke, Tyler Sorensen all of Blackfoot; mother, Delores Sorensen; sisters, Debbie Potts, Diane (Mike) Neff, Tammy Sorensen; brothers, Troy (Kathy) Sorensen, Toby (Lorie) Sorensen; two grandchildren, Zoey (5) and Trigg (2) Fields; in-laws Keith (Penny) Taylor, Jody (Autumn) Taylor, and Stacey Mitchell. He was preceded by death by his dad Erland Sorensen and grandparents.Â
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave.Â
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
