ABERDEEN — Voters in the Aberdeen School District will go to the polls Wednesday to vote on a supplemental bond election to help the district’s general fund.

The $400,000 levy is the same amount requested last year, said business manager Pam Muirbrook. The levy passed handily last year.
She said the supplemental money will be used to supplement the general fund.
If the levy is approved, the money will be used as discretionary funds to help the school district where needed, be it for electricity, maintenance, transportation or whatever.
Polls will be open noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Aberdeen High School Media Center and the Springfield Fire Station and Community Center.
“We appreciate community support of the supplemental levies and our students, Muirbrook said.
