BLACKFOOT — A luncheon and craft fair to raise money for local needs is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church, 168 S. University Ave., Blackfoot.Image
“This event has been held every year for the last 30 years,” chairwoman Cathie Fields said.
No reservations are necessary. People can buy tickets at the door.
The cost follows:
• $10 for the entire luncheon—salad buffet, drink and homemade pie
• $7.50 for salad bar and drink
• $4.50 for drink and pie
Available in the craft fair are stitchery items and Christmas crafts, Fields said.
In the handwork department are afghans, blankets, aprons, dish clothes and dish towels. There is a huge selection of frames and mats, she said.
Homemade loaves of bread and pies will also be on sale.
Local people receive help from this event. Funds have been distributed to the Bingham County Crisis Center, the Salvation Army, the Blackfoot Ministerial Association, SEICAA, Wesley House in Pocatello and State Hospital South.
