Walgreen's to celebrate third anniversary

Walgreens is celebrating three years in Blackfoot with a Memorial Day Carnival on Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to Walgreens' Executive Assistant Manager Sarah Hjelm there will be activities galore for the whole family to enjoy! Here's what will be going on:
-Fishing Booths to promote the fishing season: Kids catch FREE fish!
-Kids practice their fishing skills and catch magnetic fish fishing pool.
-Get to know your Walgreens Pharmacy: Pharmacists' booth includes free blood pressure tests, ask your pharmacist questions.
-Blackfoot police department will be on hand to help you discard old medications.
-ID Kits Photo Booth: Free kids ID Kits-Blackfoot Police Department will be on hand to educate the kids on child safety.
-Enter to win prizes: Prizes donated by Intermountain Beverage Co. and Watkins Distributing. Drawings at 6 p.m.
A few of the specials throughout the day include:
-Cotton Candy: $1
-Car Wash $5: with time donated by local fifth graders.
-Face Painting: $1
-Hot Dog, Bag of Chips and a 16 oz soda pop: $2
All funds will be donated to the Relay for Life American Cancer Society.
Hjelm said that she and the entire staff at Walgreens extend a special 'Thank You' to the Blackfoot fifth graders and the Blackfoot Police Department and to everyone in the community who have donate and volunteered their time to make this a special community event.
