Wilford C. “Nick” Nicholson, 80

Wilford C. “Nick”Nicholson, 80, of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at his home.
He was born Aug.14, 1931 in Battle Mountain, Nev., to Wilford Leslie Nicholson and Dolly Brown.
He was raised in Elko, Nev., and attended schools there.  He moved around the country with his military family to various stations.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
On May 3, 1954, he married Lenus Wright in Reno, Nev..  She preceded him in death on July 1, 2009.
 He later married Dolores R. Jordan on Dec. 8, 2010.
 Wilford was a flight controller, worked in real estate in Salt Lake City, Utah, worked in sales in Tennessee selling the world’s finest chocolate and also worked as an accountant in Midvale, Utah.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, boating, camping and loved to visit with people.
Wilford served in the Vietnam War in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores of Blackfoot; sons, Kim (Tanya) Nicholson and Len (Christie) Nicholson, both of Blackfoot; daughters, Eva (Paul) Gabb of Price, Utah; and Gay (Russ) Fleming of Magna, Utah; stepson, Don Ricetti of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Heather Claudia, Kami, Jess, Trish, Michele, and Trina; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Gabe, Gracie, Mason, Madison and Gemma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lee Nicholson; sister, Frances Smith; Shirley Westlund and great-grandson, Dreyden.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
