Dewain H. Taylor, 62, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at his home in Blackfoot.
Dewain was born December 22, 1947 in Rigby, Idaho to Donald S. Taylor and Mary A. Hill. He spent his childhood in Blackfoot, Idaho and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
Dewain married Regina Ceriello and together they had two children, Dewain A. “Tony” and Theresa. They were later divorced.
He worked for 40 years as a carpenter in the Carpenter union, retiring in 2009. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring old cars and going 4-wheeling with a lot of good friends.
Dewain is survived by his children, Dewain A. “Tony” Taylor of Granite Falls, Washington and Theresa A. Taylor of Stanwood, Washington; mother, Mary A. Taylor of Blackfoot; brothers, Jerry E., Keith, Max, and Tim; sisters, Penny Taylor and Denise Taylor; and seven grandchildren.
Dewain is preceded in death by his father, Donald; brother, Robert K.; and sister Ruth Ann Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.
Family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at the Grove City Cemetery.
