Judith “Judy” Lee Rundle, 72, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at her home.
Judy was born Aug. 26, 1938 in Detroit, Mich., to Norval Wenner and Henrietta Woiderski. Judy graduated from Firth High School in Michigan in 1957. She lived in Michigan until 1961, when she moved to Southern California. She lived there until 1997, when she moved to Blackfoot and has lived here ever since.
On Aug. 4, 1966 Judy married Douglas Rundle in Santa Anna, Calif.
Judy worked as a bookkeeper in Detroit, worked for the state of California, raised handicapped kids and was a receptionist for Dawn Enterprises. In her free time she enjoyed softball, fishing, bowling and coaching many teams with her children.
Judy is survived by her husband, Douglas of Blackfoot; son, Tim Rundle of Priest Lake; daughters, Tamyra (Michael) Garza of California and Tuesdee Rundle of Texas; stepsons, Doug Rundle Jr of Newport, Wash.; Scott (Cindy) Rundle of Iowa and Patrick (Patricia) Rundle of North Carolina; stepdaughter, Barbara LeMaster of California; brother, Kenneth Wenner of Kent, Wash.; and 25 grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot, officiated by Pastor John Stevens. The family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to serves at the funeral home.
