BLACKFOOT — Two Blackfoot realtors have been recognized by the Idaho Housing and Fiance Association for their commitment to the IdaMortgage program.
Tami Fairchild of Heartland Real Estate received the gold STAR (Saluting Top Area Realtors Award) for representing eight IdaMortgage homebuyers. Andy Hasselbring of RE/MAX Preferred Properties received the silver STAR award for representing buyers on six IdaMortgage loans. The awards are based on the number of IdaMortgage loans closed over a two-year period.
Additionally, Brandon Falter of Riverside Real Estate received a Certificate of Appreciation for four or more IdaMortgage loans.
These realtors were among the top 75 in the region invited to an appreciation luncheon Thursday in Pocatello hosted by Idaho Housing and Finance Association.
“Realtors play a key role in providing information about the IdaMortgage Loan program, and this partnership is important to our program’s success,” Susan Semba, IHFA Vice President of Homeownership Lending said. “They provide such a great service to help people find the right home.”
IdaMortgage is a homeownership lending and resource center. For nearly 40 years, the lending program has helped more than 71,000 Idaho families "Start Smart! " The program helps people get into new homes with low mortgage rates, homebuyer education, down payment assistance and homebuyer tax credits. In the Pocatello area alone, more than 19,042 families have received more than $500 million in IdaMortgage home loans.
The realtors recognized Thursday represent 202 buyers who purchased their homes with IdaMortgage home loans in the last two years—representing a collective total of more than $22 million in loan reservations. The following realtors received STAR Awards during the IdaMortgage Appreciation Luncheon:
